A passenger car driver was killed in a collision with a truck in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

In the Surgut district of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra, a driver of a foreign car was killed in a collision with a truck. The regional state traffic inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Thursday, May 22, on the 92nd km of the Surgut–Kogalym highway. It was previously established that the 34-year-old Toyota driver drove into oncoming traffic, and his car crashed into a Ural truck driven by a 25-year-old young man, writes <url> news agency.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the foreign car received various injuries, from which he died in an ambulance. The circumstances of the incident, including the reason why the deceased drove into the oncoming lane, are being established.

On May 21, BMW and Hyundai cars collided on a highway in the Tver region. The driver of a German car and a five-year-old Hyundai passenger were killed, two more people were injured.
