Local residents told about the consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on Panteleimonovka in the DPR

Residents of the village of Panteleimonovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on May 22 told Izvestia about the consequences of the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the settlement.

Footage from the scene shows that private buildings, cars and an apartment building were damaged.

It is noted that Panteleimonovka was hit by a combined strike using the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), one of which hit the apartment and caught fire.

"I heard the first arrival, which was literally here, the garage was blown apart. Then there was a drone. <...> It flew into a nine—story building. <...> I just put up the windows, and they flew out again," local resident Sergei told Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Bykovsky.

Earlier in the day, Alexander Penyaev, acting head of the Yasinovatsky municipal district of the DPR, reported that eight civilians in Panteleimonovka were injured in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, private houses and an apartment building were also damaged.
