Putin awarded ballerina Stashkevich the title of Honored Artist of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation to the ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Anastasia Stashkevich. The relevant decree was published on the website of regulatory legal acts on May 22.

"To award the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation to Anastasia Vitalievna Stashkevich, a ballet dancer at the Federal State Budgetary cultural institution The State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia," the statement said.

In addition, Vitaly Egorov, an actor of the Oleg Tabakov Moscow Theater, was awarded the Order of Merit in Culture and Art for his contribution to the development of Russian culture and art and many years of fruitful activity.

At the same time, Peter Danilov, director of the Udmurt State Folklore Song and Dance Theater "Aikai", was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Khvatov, conductor of the choir of the State Academic Symphonic Chapel of Russia, was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, on March 25, the Russian leader awarded the titles of People's Artists of Russia to actress Anna Mikhalkova, actor Maxim Averin and TV presenter Alexander Oleshko. The corresponding titles were also awarded to ballerina Maria Abashova, actress of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus Elena Baranenko and puppeteer of the Obraztsov Puppet Theater Vladimir Berkun.
