The media reported nine shots fired at ex-Yanukovych adviser Portnov.

The killer of the former adviser to the ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, shot the victim at least nine times. This was reported on May 22 by the Spanish news agency EFE, citing sources.
"The initial investigation revealed that the perpetrator fired at least nine shots in the back, as nine shell casings were found at the crime scene," the publication says.
According to the agency, the large number of shell casings found at the crime scene indicates that the shooter wanted to kill Portnov for sure. It is reported that while the search for the perpetrator continues, investigators have focused their investigation on analyzing the surveillance cameras.
On May 21, Spanish radio Cadena SER reported that Portnov had been shot dead near Madrid. The killer was waiting for the victim on a motorcycle at the school gates. When Portnov drove up, the attacker shot at him, after which he quickly disappeared.
