Igor Romashov was re-elected Chairman of the Presidium of the Union of Railway Transport Operators (SOE), he has been heading the Union since 2018. As reported on the organization's website, the relevant decision was made on June 26 at the annual general meeting of the SOJT members.

In addition, Igor Sankovsky was re-elected executive Director of the Union. A total of 16 people were elected to the presidium, they will serve on it for three years. The Union's member companies included Konstantin Goncharov, CEO of Novotrans Cargo Company; Alexey Gribanov, Senior Adviser to the Managing Director of Cargo Company LLC; Alexey Druzhinin, Adviser to the Managing Director of Rusagrotrans; Sergey Kaletin, CEO of SG-Trans; Mikhail Kuznetsov, Advisor to the CEO of National Transport Company; and Gazpromtrans CEO." Maxim Mironenko, President of Eurosib SPb-Transport Systems Dmitry Nikitin, CEO of BaltTransService Kirill Prokofiev, as well as Chairman of the Management Board of REILGO Rahman Khalilov.

The independent members of the presidium included Innokenty Alafinov, CEO of TransFin-M, Mikhail Glazkov, Deputy CEO and Head of the Central Directorate of Russian Railways Traffic Management, Peter Ivanov, President of the Far Eastern Shipping Company, Sergey Maltsev, Chairman of the Presidium of the Eurasian Union of Railway Freight Transport Participants, Irina Chiganashkina, CEO of ProfLogista, and Alexey Shilo, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport..

The meeting also identified the Union's priority areas of activity for the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026. Among other things, the annual report and accounting statements for the past year have been approved.
