For a future summer vacation, you can already buy foreign currency, since the ruble exchange rate will not seriously decrease until the end of the summer. This opinion was expressed by Candidate of Economics and financial analyst Mikhail Belyaev on Thursday, May 22.
The expert assumed that the dollar exchange rate would be in the range of 82-85 rubles.
According to Belyaev, now is a good time to buy foreign currency, and dollars or euros need to be decided depending on the country you choose for your vacation. It is impossible to calculate which currency is more profitable to purchase — dollars or euros, under current conditions, he added.
"Now the Central Bank takes over-the-counter transactions as the basis of the course, that is, the Forex market is purely speculative and emotional. It is very, very difficult to predict where the emotions of buyers and sellers of the currency will turn next time," he said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
In his opinion, the Central Bank artificially inflates the ruble's exchange rate against the dollar in order to justify its monetary policy.
