Andrey Murov, First Deputy General Director of PJSC ROSSETI, made a presentation at a meeting of the State Council Commission on Energy, talking about the staffing of the electric grid complex, as well as proposals to increase the attractiveness of working conditions in the energy sector.

"Recently, we have been increasingly faced with the problem of the outflow of qualified personnel. This is due not only to the influence of demographic factors, but also to the transition of specialists to work in an industry with a higher level of remuneration. To reverse the trend, it is necessary to change approaches to regulation. In particular, the initiative of the FAS of Russia to introduce the benchmark method in determining the costs of network organizations is aimed at solving this issue. Programs to improve the living conditions of power engineers, implemented with state support, can also be an effective measure," said Andrei Murov.

Murov pointed out that the ROSSETI Group successfully uses the tools of non-material motivation of employees. These include measures such as corporate educational projects with equal participation opportunities, a talent pool program, and community and interest clubs.

In addition, ROSSETI intensively trains future personnel and popularizes industry professions. So, together with the National Research University "MEI", the Energy Circles project is being implemented to increase the interest of schoolchildren in physics and the electric power industry. Dual education and adaptive employment formats for students of higher and secondary educational institutions are being developed.
