Russia has received a Ukrainian list of people for the exchange of prisoners in the "1000 by 1000" format. This was announced on May 22 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Yes, indeed, [the list] has now been received," Peskov said, according to Interfax.

Earlier in the day, the Kremlin's official representative said that the Russian side had sent Ukraine a list for the exchange of prisoners.

Negotiations between the delegations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine took place in Istanbul on May 16. According to the head of the Russian delegation, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky, the parties agreed on a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war in the "1000 to 1000" format, which should take place in the coming days.
