Xiaomi has unveiled a new YU7 crossover


Xiaomi has introduced a production version of the YU7 crossover in China, which has become the brand's second model. Sales of the model will start in July this year, and prices for the model will be announced at the same time, CarNewsChina reported on May 22.
Xiaomi YU7 is built on the same platform as the SU7 sedan. The length of the model is 4999 mm with a three-meter wheelbase. One of the new features is the 1.1-meter HyperVision screen, which is located at the bottom of the windshield and will act as a dashboard.
The electric car received a leather interior trim, zero-gravity seats, a touch screen for rear passengers to control the climate system and multimedia, a large central display and other options.
The YU7 will be offered in three configurations. The basic version will be rear-wheel drive, its engine produces 320 hp (528 Nm) and allows you to accelerate to 100 km/ h in 5.88 seconds at a maximum of 240 km/ h. This version has the largest range on a single charge — 835 km.
The initial all-wheel drive version has a twin-engine powerplant (496 hp; 690 Nm). In the flagship modification, the system develops 691 hp and 866 Nm, it allows you to accelerate to 253 km / h and accelerate from zero to "hundreds" in 3.23 seconds.
On May 13, it was reported that 2,647 electric vehicles were sold in Russia in the first four months of 2025. This is three times less than in the same period last year (8,126 units). Xiaomi SU7 entered the top ten market leaders, although the model is not officially represented in the Russian Federation.
