Polish presidential candidate promised not to send Polish military to Ukraine

Polish troops will not be sent to Ukraine even at the request of the United States. This was announced on May 22 by Karol Nawrocki, candidate for president of Poland from the opposition Law and Justice party.
"Of course, I will not allow Polish soldiers to be sent to the territory of Ukraine," he said in an interview with politician Slawomir Menzen, posted on the latter's YouTube channel.
Navrotsky noted that he would not take such a step, even if the American leader Donald Trump asked for it. Ukraine is not a member of NATO, and therefore Poland has no such obligations, he stressed.
Earlier, on May 20, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Warsaw was not going to send troops to Ukraine. He stressed that this decision is not subject to revision. At the same time, the head of government added that Poland faces the task of organizing a center for the transfer of weapons and other assistance to Ukraine.
