Serbia pointed to the desire of Germany and France to complicate the situation of the Republika Srpska

Germany and France have prepared a document that will complicate the position of Republika Srpska (entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH). This was announced on May 22 by the Chief of the Serbian General Staff, Milan Mojsilovic, following a meeting of the National Security Council.

He noted that during the meeting the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the security situation in the region were discussed.

"The President of Serbia and Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces [Aleksandar Vucic] has introduced to us today a document prepared by France and Germany, it is an 'unofficial document' and directly affects the Republika Srpska... It complicates the situation of the Republika Srpska," Moisilovic said, his words are transmitted by the B92 TV channel.

The details of the document were not disclosed. The meeting identified the goals and objectives of further work on this issue, Moisilovich added.

The day before, the head of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said he was ready to consider the possibility of a partnership in the field of strategic minerals with the United States, provided that the entity's autonomy was supported. According to him, the republic has large reserves of the most important minerals.
