The Russian government will allocate over 5 billion rubles to support electricity supply in new regions. This was announced on May 22 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We will allocate over 5 billion rubles for the purchase of about 100 transformers and mobile modular substations," Mishustin said at a government meeting.

The Prime Minister specified that the equipment will be used to form an emergency reserve of equipment in demand and will allow for the rapid restoration of electricity supply in case of unforeseen situations. The operational reserve will contribute to the growth of the entire network economy of the new regions, Mishustin stressed.

On April 30, the head of government announced that grant support to agricultural enterprises in Russia's border regions would be extended for six months. It is specified that grants will be allocated for the development of family farms, the material and technical base of farms and the implementation of investment projects.
