CIA officers opened fire on a woman who approached the headquarters

Employees of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States opened fire on a woman who approached the gates of the agency's headquarters, she was wounded and detained. This was reported by CNN on May 22.

The department itself, in turn, announced the closure of the main entrance to the headquarters until further notice.

"The main entrance to the headquarters is closed until further notice," the CIA said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, it became known about the shooting near the Jewish Museum in Washington on May 22, said US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristy Noem. According to CBS News, the attacker purposefully shot at employees of the diplomatic mission leaving the museum, shouting pro-Palestinian slogans.
