The farewell ceremony for People's Artist of the USSR, Russian ballet dancer and teacher-tutor Yuri Vladimirovich began in Moscow. The footage is published by Izvestia on May 22.

The event takes place in the Main Foyer of the historic Bolshoi Theatre building. Those present brought a lot of flowers.

Later that day, Vladimirov's funeral service will be held in the church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy". The artist will be buried at the Danilovsky cemetery.

Vladimirov's death at the age of 83 became known on May 19. He was a soloist of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre. In his career, the People's Artist of the USSR participated a lot in tours abroad and starred in TV shows. He has been awarded numerous prizes at international and Russian competitions.
