Bears began to come out to human habitation due to fires in Transbaikalia


In Transbaikalia, near the villages of the Uletovsky district, three bears have been spotted at once over the past two days. Forest fires force predators to leave their habitual habitats and go out to populated areas.
According to the ChitaMedia news agency, with reference to the district administration, the tracks of one bear were found on the outskirts of the village of Arta. Another one was seen near the village of Khadakty. The tracks of the third bear were seen in the area between the settlements of Shekholan and Nikolaevskoye.
Local residents are asked to observe security measures. Wild animals are advised not to photograph or videotape. Also, you should not chase them, feed them, or pet them. In addition, experts do not recommend scaring away animals using vehicles.
Earlier, on May 21, it was reported about a fire in the Ogonyok children's camp in Transbaikalia. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire spread to 120 square meters. m. Later it became known about the localization of the fire on an area of 1 thousand square meters. m. 50 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
On the same day, traffic was temporarily stopped in the Trans-Baikal Territory on the Baikal federal highway section due to smoke from a fire operating near the village of Tataurovo in the Uletovsky district.
