Forecasters explained the reason for the sudden hail in Vladivostok

A strong hail passed in Vladivostok in the area of the Second river. The precipitation came as a surprise to drivers and pedestrians.

Primhydromet explained that unstable weather had been established in the Primorsky Territory. The reason is the development of a powerful cumulonimbus cloud cover, which was formed due to high humidity near the surface, daytime warming of the air to +25 degrees and a change in air masses.

Experts are sure that it is precisely such conditions that provoke thunderstorms, heavy rains and hail formation. Updrafts formed inside clouds lift droplets into the cold layers of the atmosphere, where they freeze, overgrow with ice and fall out in the form of hailstones, writes IA PrimaMedia.

Such phenomena are usually short-lived, but are accompanied by strong winds, a sharp drop in temperature and heavy rains.
