A woman died after being hit by a Gazelle in Zelenograd. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office on Thursday, May 22.

The supervisory authority clarified that the driver of the Gazelle car hit a pedestrian while reversing along the sidewalk.

"A woman born in 1973 was hospitalized in serious condition in a medical facility, where she died from injuries sustained as a result of an accident," the press service told the Moscow city News agency.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Zelenograd Administrative District took control of the progress and results of the procedural audit.

Earlier on Thursday, one person died as a result of an accident on the Northeastern Chord in the Berezovaya Alley area in Moscow.

On the same day, one person died in a three-car accident near Ufa. It was previously established that the driver of the Chevrolet Niva vehicle was heading from Ufa towards Chishmov. At an intersection with a traffic light, his car collided with a KAMAZ truck that was driving towards him. After that, the Niva collided with an Infiniti QX 70 car. The driver of the Chevrolet Niva died before the arrival of doctors, reports 360.ru .

On May 21, auto expert Konstantin Ligachev advised that when buying a used car, carefully check its history in various databases and car libraries, RT reports.

The expert also added that it is better to invite a professional to study the condition of the vehicle in more detail. He will be able to determine whether the car was in an accident, whether it was repaired or otherwise manipulated.
