Vietnamese carrier VietJet Air will launch flights from Khabarovsk International Airport to Vietnam. The first flight is scheduled for June 18. Flights from Khabarovsk will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

IA AmurMedia writes that VietJet Air has never flown from Khabarovsk before. It is the first private airline in Vietnam. It was founded in 2011. Its fleet includes Airbus family liners.

VietJet Air will fly to resorts on the coast of the South China Sea on an Airbus A321 airliner.

The agency, with reference to the press service of JSC International Airport, notes that earlier flights to Vietnam appeared with Azur Air, Anex Tour, Ikar Airlines and Pegas Touristik. VietJet Air is the third carrier that operates flights to Vietnam.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, said that Malaysia was becoming more attractive to tourists from Russia, and Moscow expressed gratitude to Kuala Lumpur for taking steps to ensure the safety and comfort of Russians.
