The doctor announced the possibility of completely getting rid of pollen allergies

Nadezhda Logina, an allergist and immunologist, said that it is possible to completely cure a pollen allergy in a month.
In conversation with aif.ru On May 22, the specialist pointed out that there are two treatment options — allergen-specific immunotherapy using allergovaccine and autolymphocytotherapy. The latter is used in the treatment of almost all types of allergic diseases, except for drug allergies. Its essence lies in the fact that instead of artificially prepared vaccines, their own immune cells are used — lymphocytes, which are isolated from a small amount of the patient's venous blood. After that, they are injected into him, like a regular vaccine, into the lateral surface of the shoulder. Such therapy is carried out for both adults and children. The course of treatment for adults includes eight procedures, for children — six or seven.
Both treatment options, according to Logina, are carried out outside the flowering season.
"In particular, this method is successfully used in the treatment of allergies to mold fungi, household dust, microbial factors, and cold allergies," the doctor said.
On May 19, nutritionist Ekaterina Guzman warned that strawberries are one of the most common allergens. An allergic reaction to this berry and other fruits may be experienced by people who are allergic to birch pollen, writes NSN.
On May 14, experts used reusable nose filters to protect themselves from pollen. You can also wear synthetic or smooth clothes so that as little pollen as possible lingers on them, notes 360.ru .
On May 12, allergist-immunologist Ella Churyukina, in an interview with Izvestia, said that allergy sufferers should follow preventive measures during the period of hay fever: avoid walking in the morning in dry and windy weather, close the windows of the house, wear protective equipment and take a shower upon returning home.
On May 10, Rospotrebnadzor talked about ways to reduce the manifestations of seasonal allergies. Experts called for keeping windows closed, limiting time outdoors, filtering indoor air and regular wet cleaning, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
