Experts have listed competitors to Lixiang crossovers in Russia

Hybrid cars of the Lixiang brand, which is officially entering the Russian market, will have many competitors, primarily in the segment of premium crossovers and SUVs. This was reported to Izvestia on May 22 by Avito Auto experts, who analyzed which other models those users of the platform who choose new cars of this brand are interested in.

The most compact hybrid model in the Lixiang line is the L6 crossover. In the price range of 5-6 million rubles, the L6 audience is interested in models such as the new Exeed RX, and in the secondary market — the Zeekr 001, BMW X3, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Land Rover Discovery Sport.

Along with the larger Lixiang L7 in the 6.5-7 million rubles price range, buyers are considering the new Tank 500 and several used cars: Zeekr 001, BMW X3 and Audi Q8. The six-seat Lixiang L8 competes with Audi Q7, Land Rover Range Rover, Toyota Land Cruiser, Audi SQ5, Jeep Wrangler on the secondary market for the audience's attention in the price range of 7-8 million rubles.

The Lixiang L9 crossover is the largest car in the line. At a price of 8-9 million rubles, users of the platform are looking for several BMW models at once: X5, X6, X7 and 5 series, as well as Toyota Land Cruiser (all with mileage).

In the first four months of 2025, the number of ads for the sale of new Lixiang brand cars on the platform increased by 4.6 times compared to the same period in 2024, analysts estimate. The L7 crossover attracted the most interest (42.4%), the share of L9 was 27.5%, L6 — 24.4%, and L8 — 1.3%.

The Lixiang brand will come to Russia officially soon, but it may become more expensive

On May 14, Sinomach Auto announced retail prices for Chinese Li Auto (Lixiang) crossovers in Russia. The L6 and L7 models will be available in two trim levels, while the flagship L9 will be available in one. Official sales will begin at the end of May 2025, Avilon dealer holding announced earlier. The cars will receive a three—year warranty, or 100,000 km of mileage (whichever comes first), as well as a traction battery warranty of eight years, or 160,000 km.
