Putin appointed Krikalev special representative for international cooperation in space

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Hero of the Russian Federation, cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev, as the special representative of the Russian Federation for international space cooperation. The relevant decree was published on May 22 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To appoint Sergey Konstantinovich Krikalev, Hero of the Russian Federation, as special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for international cooperation in the field of space," the publication says.

It is specified that the decree comes into force from the date of its signing.
