On May 22, the State Duma of Russia adopted in the second and third readings a law imposing fines of up to 500 thousand rubles for selling energy drinks to children. This is reported on the website of the lower house of parliament.

"The Duma will seek to criminalize the sale of energy products to children," said Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma.
