The Russia — the Land of Opportunities platform celebrated its seventh anniversary

The projects of the Russia — Land of Opportunities platform, created on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, have gathered more than 25 million participants over the seven years of their existence — these are residents of 89 regions of the Russian Federation and 150 countries of the world, according to the project's website on May 22 on the day of its seventh anniversary.

"The platform has helped millions of people to believe in themselves, go to university, find a profession they like, find like—minded people, build a career, see the most beautiful places in the country, get into public service and more," the press release says.

According to Andrey Betin, CEO of the platform, the most valuable thing for employees of Russia — the land of opportunities is to see how the platform participants themselves initiate new directions of movement, creating "an ecosystem of development for the whole country."

"More than 25 million people from all over Russia and 150 countries have become participants in the projects of the presidential platform. <...> We do not just provide opportunities, we create them together with participants in the RSV projects," Betin said.

It is noted that during its existence, the platform has implemented more than 60 projects, contests and Olympiads. Among them are "Leaders of Russia", "This is family business", "Flagships of education", "TopBLOG", "I am a professional" and many others.

Last year, on July 8, the final of the "This is our family" competition was held, which was won by 32 teams. According to the press service of Russia - the Land of Opportunities, 89 children, 70 parents, 40 representatives of the generation of grandparents, and three great—grandmothers and great-grandfathers were among the winners. The youngest winners are five years old, and the oldest is 79 years old.

During the conversation with the participants of the meeting, Putin called the strengthening of families the main priority of the country, and also supported the idea of creating a special holiday in the country for large families.
