Actress Olga Lapshina denied rumors of ill health and hospitalization
Actress Olga Lapshina denied reports that she allegedly became ill during the performance. In a conversation with Izvestia on May 22, she clarified that she was feeling well.
"It was on Sunday. We checked the cardiogram, everything is fine. So no one was going to hospitalize me," she said.
Lapshina added that on that day, many of her entourage complained of feeling unwell.
"I hedged my bets and called an ambulance to check my heart," the actress explained.
Earlier, a number of media outlets reported that Lapshina allegedly became ill during the performance of Pygmalion.
Earlier, on April 19, concert director Alexander Zykin told about the fall of People's Artist of the RSFSR Mikhail Boyarsky in the theater during a rehearsal. It was reported that the actor stumbled and fell, after which he went to the hospital. Later, the artist's wife Larisa Luppian said that doctors had temporarily banned Boyarsky from playing on stage.
