A concrete slab fell on two schoolchildren in Balashikha, Moscow region


Two schoolchildren aged 11 and 12 were hospitalized in Balashikha, Moscow region, after a concrete slab fell on them. This was announced on May 22 by a source of Izvestia.
"The incident occurred on May 21 at a construction site. A concrete fence collapsed. One of the boys had his legs crushed, the other got under the stove with his whole body," the source told the publication.
One child was taken to the hospital with fractures of the shin and pelvic bones, the second suffered an abdominal injury, spinal cord injury and traumatic shock.
The Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office announced on March 26 that a four-year-old child had died as a result of a bus collision in Balashikha, Moscow region. According to preliminary data, the bus hit a four-year-old child crossing the road accompanied by his mother at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. It is noted that the prosecutor's office controls the establishment of all circumstances of the accident.
