As a result of heavy rain and hail in the Indian capital, Delhi, two people were killed and 11 others were injured. This was reported by the PTI news agency on May 22, citing police data.

It is specified that the victims of the natural disaster were a 22-year-old man and a person with disabilities. Tree falls on cars and damage to infrastructure, followed by power outages, were also recorded. At least 13 flights at the capital's airport were canceled due to bad weather.
According to the Meteorological Department of India, the wind speed during the storm reached 79 km/h. At the same time, there were torrential downpours and large hail.
The Indian Express newspaper reported on April 20 that a heavy rainstorm with wind and hail had passed in the Ramban district of the state of Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. As a result, three people died, and almost 500 residents had to leave their homes and move to safer areas.
