The Khabarovsk Regional Court has sentenced a Khabarovsk resident who helped Britain conduct anti-Russian activities. This was reported on May 22 in the press service of the Khabarovsk Regional Court.

According to the department, the man, guided by his anti-Russian political views, collaborated with a British representative to assist him in activities deliberately directed against Russia's security.

It is noted that a man with access to educational institutions offered to conduct anti-Russian propaganda among teenagers on their base in exchange for political asylum. In addition, the accused was engaged in collecting and transmitting information about products manufactured by the military-industrial complex of the Khabarovsk Territory.

The Khabarovsk resident was charged under Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state, international or foreign organization"). He was sentenced to imprisonment for four years and six months, with restriction of liberty for a period of one year and six months, with serving a sentence of imprisonment in a correctional colony of general regime.

Anastasia Yablokova, the official representative of the press service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, announced on May 21 that a resident of the Amur Region had been detained for high treason. As specified, he planned to participate in military operations against the Russian Armed Forces, as well as commit sabotage on a section of the Trans-Siberian railway.
