The governor of the Tula region announced the repulse of the UAV attack over the region

Air defense systems have repelled an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Tula region. This was announced on May 22 by the governor of the region Dmitry Milyaev.

"The Russian Defense Ministry's on—duty air defense systems repelled another air attack and recorded the fall of drone debris in Tula," a message on his Telegram channel said.

It is clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the attack, specialists from the emergency services are working at the scene. There is still a danger of an attack by UAVs in the region, Milyaev noted.

The new radar has compact dimensions and high mobility.

On May 22, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces had destroyed and intercepted 77 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the regions of Russia. It was clarified that the attacks were stopped between 20:00 and 23:50 Moscow time.
