Two people, including a five-year-old child, were killed in an accident in the south-east of the Tver region. This was announced on Wednesday, May 21, by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

It is specified that the accident occurred in the Kimry municipal district. According to preliminary data, the BMW driver drove into the oncoming lane, where he subsequently collided with a Hyundai car.

The BMW driver and a female passenger born in 2020 died at the scene. Two Hyundai passengers with injuries were taken to a medical facility, the agency writes.

Operational services specialists are working at the scene of the accident, the circumstances of the accident are being established, the statement said.
