In Saratov, a teacher from a local lyceum was fired after a teacher put a trash can on a third-grade student's head and threatened violence. This was reported on May 21 in the press service of the Oktyabrsky district administration.

"According to the lyceum administration, the primary school teacher could not cope with emotions, showing unacceptable behavior with the student. An operational check was carried out, as a result of which the teacher was dismissed," the administration's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the child's parents apologized, and a conversation was held with the staff about the ethics of behavior in the educational institution. In addition, a warning was issued to the head of the lyceum about the inadmissibility of such behavior by teachers.

Earlier that day, a video appeared online showing a student and a teacher in conflict. At the same time, the woman can be seen holding a trash can to the student's face and asking him to spit out the gum, threatening to kill him. During the altercation, the teacher put a trash can on the boy's head.

The press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region also reported that a criminal case had been opened into the incident.

"The investigative department for the Frunzensky district of Saratov of the regional investigative department, based on the results of checking information posted in the media, has opened a criminal case on negligence (Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the Telegram channel says.

On March 22, a man was detained in Krasnoyarsk, who beat two schoolchildren with a chair. It was noted that the man was stopped by other parents, teachers and school guards who arrived at the scene. A case has been opened under the article on the commission of hooligan acts (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
