The murder site of ex-Yanukovych adviser Portnov remains cordoned off.

The square opposite the school in Madrid, where Andrei Portnov, an ex-adviser to former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, was killed, is still cordoned off. This was reported on May 21 by a correspondent of Izvestia.
"Several ambulances literally just left the scene of the crime, but they could not help Portnov in any way. The doctors could only pronounce death," said correspondent Mikhail Blokhin.
According to him, investigators and criminologists continue to work near the international school in Madrid's prestigious Pozuelo de Alarcon district, where the politician's murder took place.
Portnov's murder was reported earlier that day. Unknown people shot him dead in Madrid. According to the newspaper El Mundo, Portnov was shot in the head. It is specified that before the murder he took his children to school.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that Portnov's murder is characterized by special cynicism, as it was committed at the school where his child studies. As political analyst Sergei Chepik noted in a conversation with Izvestia, his murder could have been of a political nature.
