Botafogo terminated the transfer contract with Zenit player Wendel

Brazilian football club (FC) Botafogo has terminated the transfer contract with Russian Zenit midfielder Marcus Wendel. This was reported on the Botafogo website on May 21.

The termination of the contract was justified by "geopolitical reasons."
