On May 21, Spanish police received surveillance footage from the place where Andrei Portnov, a former adviser to former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, was killed.

"Now the police are analyzing the recordings from the surveillance cameras located at the entrance to the school and on the surrounding streets," police representatives told RIA Novosti.

It is noted that these materials are important elements for establishing the route of the attackers, as well as determining their identity.

Earlier in the day, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that Portnov's murder was particularly cynical, as it was committed at the school where his child studies.

Portnov's murder was reported on May 21 by Spanish radio Cadena SER. He was shot dead near Madrid. Three or four people took part in the murder of the ex-adviser to Yanukovych. At the time of the incident, the man was driving a car. He received at least three gunshot wounds, one of which was to the head.
