A fragment of a UAV fell on the territory of a kindergarten in Domodedovo, Moscow region.

The wreckage of a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fell on the territory of the Vasilek kindergarten in Domodedovo, Moscow region. This was announced on May 21 by the head of the city district Evgenia Khrustaleva.

"A fragment of a drone fell on the territory of the Vasilek kindergarten. <...> There are no casualties or damage," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

According to Khrustaleva, the children and caregivers were evacuated to the basement of the building. Operational services are currently working at the scene.

In addition, Ksenia Mishonova, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Moscow Region, told TASS that 98 children were in kindergarten at the time of the crash.

Earlier in the day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that the Russian air defense forces had repelled an attempted attack by seven more Ukrainian drones that were flying towards the capital. He clarified that emergency services are working at the crash site.
