A new drying department for the production of sodium monochromate using calcium-free technology has been opened at the Khrompik enterprise in Pervouralsk. The opening ceremony was attended by Denis Pasler, Acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Alexander Shamsutdinov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Polyplast Group of Companies.

According to the acting governor, "what is happening here today is a drastic change." "I am very pleased that the company has embarked on a full-scale investment project of more than 60 billion rubles. Thanks to this, production volumes will increase 10 times," Pasler said. He is confident that the project will make a huge contribution to the development of the city, the region and the whole country.

The participants of the working meeting, which took place after the opening of the production complex, discussed the prospects for the development of the chemical enterprise. Today, several production facilities are in the active construction phase. In parallel, a complex for the production of iron sulfate is being built at the neutralization station, which will ensure the complete processing of sludge from reagent wastewater treatment. The launch of a new cooling tower with a capacity of 2.5 thousand cubic meters of water per hour for the implementation of a closed water supply cycle is at the final stage.

Alexander Shamsutdinov, Head of Polyplast Group, emphasized that the use of modern technologies at the Pervouralsk enterprise makes it possible to significantly increase the variety of products and meet the needs of export markets. "Our main task is to ensure that product quality meets the requirements set by our foreign partners. Export supplies are a priority," he stressed.

The Khrompik production complex modernization project has been implemented since the end of 2023, when the plant became part of Polyplast. It is one of the largest in the Sverdlovsk region. In 2024, the production complex was awarded the status of a priority investment project in the region.
