Dodik offered the US a deal on minerals on condition of autonomy support

Republika Srpska (entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) is ready to consider the possibility of partnership in the field of strategic minerals with the United States, provided that its autonomy is supported. This was announced on May 21 by the head of the republic, Milorad Dodik, quoted by Republika Srpska Radio and Television (RTRS).
"We know that the United States has explored opportunities for cooperation in Ukraine, South America, and Africa, with varying degrees of success. That is why today, for the first time, I publicly declare that Republika Srpska is ready to consider the possibility of partnership in the field of strategic minerals with Hungary, the United States, Serbia, Russia, China and the European Union," Dodik said.
According to him, Republika Srpska has large reserves of important minerals, including lithium, boron, strontium, sodium and potassium. According to him, Republika Srpska is ready to support America's efforts to diversify and ensure the security of supply chains of essential minerals.
"Give us freedom, confirm our existing sovereignty, guarantee the Dayton Agreement, our political autonomy and independence, and we will become partners," Dodik said.
The politician stressed that the deposits in the Lopara basin are among the most promising untapped lithium and boron deposits in Europe.
Earlier, on May 14, Dodik said that European countries are seeking to seize Russia's useful resources. According to him, Europe has been wanting to take over Russia for a long time. However, to do this, she needs to divide it into parts.
