Former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian parliamentarian Dmitry Razumkov, 21 called for an end to the conflict with the Russian Federation due to the worsening problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with holding the line of combat contact. He announced this on the YouTube channel "Reasonable Politics".

Razumkov added that it is increasingly difficult for Ukraine to maintain stability not only at the front, but also in the economy.

"I believe that the <military operation> should end this year. <...> Because every month it will be more and more difficult for us to hold the front line and the economy," the MP said on his YouTube channel.

Earlier, on April 28, an unnamed Ukrainian intelligence officer told The Economist magazine that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were in the darkest phase of the conflict with Russia. An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also told reporters that the Ukrainian troops were "slowly losing ground."
