- Radicals disrupted a divine service and desecrated a church of the UOC in western Ukraine

In the city of Khmelnitsky in western Ukraine, radicals desecrated the St. Nicholas Cathedral of the Canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) and disrupted a divine service with the participation of Metropolitan Onufriy. This was announced on May 21 by the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ).
"Garbage trucks and sewage transportation vehicles have been installed near the cathedral. About 100 people gathered, who attacked the parishioners and accused them of working for the Russian world. One of the activists doused the gates of the cathedral with pig's blood," the UOJ Telegram channel clarifies.
It is reported that due to the attack by the radicals, divine services with the participation of Metropolitan Onufry of the UOC were canceled.
On May 17, in the Ukrainian city of Zastavna in the Chernivtsi region, schismatics from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) seized the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos of the canonical UOC. Supporters of the OCU used a grinder to cut the locks on the doors. The police did not interfere with the attackers' actions.
