Among the qualities inherent in an effective leader, the majority (61%) of respondents noted the absence of ignoring the team. 59% of respondents emphasized the importance of being able to recognize other people's potential, as well as good communication skills. This is stated in the results of the study of the service "Work.<url>", which were reviewed by Izvestia on May 22.

Confident decision-making was highlighted by 57%, while responsibility is important for 47% of respondents. 45% of employees value career growth support and discussion of results, while 44% value positive thinking. At the same time, 43% of participants highlight the ability to think through all risks, while 42% talk about productivity and focus on results. 41% of the respondents appreciated the approach in which the manager expands the team's capabilities, but avoids micromanagement. Empathy, according to 29%, is also an important quality. Another 11% of respondents highlighted the ability to speak beautifully.

Speaking about the qualities that a manager should avoid, the majority noted deceit (80%), arrogance (79%), rudeness (75%). Bias, which was indicated by 74%, is harmful to objectivity in decision-making, and greed was noted by 68% of the survey participants. Another 65% do not accept indifference from the leadership.

Earlier, on May 21, Vladimir Koritsky, CEO of the service for secure transactions with freelancers at Solar Staff, said that a new trend is gaining popularity in the labor market — polyworking: when a person simultaneously conducts several projects, works for a number of companies in different roles. The expert noted that the trend is changing the usual perception of employment, and it will only strengthen in the coming years.
