Sollers has started shipping Russian-built SA9 buses to dealers, and the manufacturer of commercial vehicles has certified the flagship model. This is reported on May 21 Quto.ru .
Sollers SA9 is produced at the former Mazda plant in Vladivostok. The model is based on the development of the Chinese company Ankai. The length of the tour bus is 12 meters, the cabin capacity is 51 people, and the luggage compartments are 9 cubic meters.
The bus is equipped with a 370-horsepower diesel engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. The list of equipment includes an anti-skid system, all-round cameras, a blind spot controller and other assistants.
The model also has a sleeping place for the driver, a full-size toilet cubicle, a 53-liter refrigerator and a water dispenser. Each chair has individual tables, seat belts and footrests.
On May 19, it was reported that the Sollers SP7 minivan, which is a rebranded Chinese JAC Refine RF8, may appear at dealers of the brand this summer. Previously, it was planned to enter the market in the fall, but the localization project of the model is ahead of schedule.
On September 4 last year, Sollers began production of tourist and intercity buses under the Sollers brand at the Vladivostok plant. Two models have been put on the assembly line — the flagship Sollers SA9 tourist bus and the Sollers SA6 intercity bus.
