A parking lot may appear in the historical center of Tula

A new car park may appear in the historical center of Tula. A public hearing will be held on this issue, TSN24 reported on Wednesday, May 21.

Parking facilities are planned at the site in Chernikovsky Lane in the Iskra area. A request for the construction of an object on a plot of almost 1.5 thousand square meters was submitted by one of the companies.

It is not yet known for what specific needs the parking space will be used – for residents or a commercial organization. The hearing will be held on May 29.

Earlier in May, it was reported that the Tula authorities would allocate almost 2 million rubles to preserve the church of Nikita the Great Martyr. The object was recognized as a cultural heritage of regional significance.
