The film "Careful, Dvoretsky!", executive produced by Nadezhda Motina, president of the Russian company Arna Media, and Aram Hovhannisyan, will begin filming this June. The film will be released on screens all over the world, including in our country, next year. Nadezhda Motina told Izvestia about this at the Cannes Film Market, where the film was sold to a number of foreign distributors.

The fact that Jean Reno, one of the most popular French actors of our time, will play the main role in a film about an unusual butler, became known back in February. However, there were no details. But now the film has been successfully presented at the Cannes film market, and we have learned a number of interesting details about the project.

In the Russian box office, the film will be released as "Careful, the Butler!" (the original title is The Butler, that is, simply "The Butler"). The audience is waiting for a comedy thriller, in the center of which is the character of Jean Reno, a former commando who decided to live a peaceful life. Of course, he will have to remember his old skills.

— The action takes place in a luxury mansion. After the death of the old owner, the house was inherited by his son, who came to Europe from America. But he is being chased by bandits. He will be helped by a butler who will not let anyone offend and who uses the house as a fortress," Nadezhda Motina told Izvestia.

According to the producer, many countries decided to buy the rights to the film. The painting was sold in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Benelux countries, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Indonesia, the Middle East and Eastern European countries. Moreover, there was a particularly heated struggle between Japanese distributors: in the Land of the Rising Sun, Renault has been especially loved since the days of Leon. The film was also sold in the USA and Canada. Recently it became known that Tom Hollander, known for "King's Man: The Beginning" and the TV series "White Lotus", will star in it together with Jean Reno.

Filming starts next month in Ireland. And the painting will be ready in early 2026. And soon after that it will be released in Russia.

This is not the only star-studded novelty from the Cannes film market that Arna Media is preparing to release in our country. Among the potential hits purchased in varying degrees of readiness are Paolo Genovese's romcom Madly, which has collected more in Italy than "Perfect Strangers," the comedy "Open Relationships," in which Dakota Johnson played one of the roles (read an interview with her in Izvestia), and "The Gun Baron 2," the sequel to the popular action film with Starring Nicolas Cage. Moreover, if the first two works are already ready (the premiere of "Open Relations" took place just in Cannes), then "The Gun Baron 2" is still in the pre-production stage: filming will start only in September.

Another promising release, which is only in the production process, but will definitely be released here, is "Treasure Hunters. The Book of Fate". The film stars Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman and Kevin Costner.

—Crowe is currently training hard to get into the right physical shape and play his character as convincingly as possible,— Nadezhda Motina shared with Izvestia.

The Cannes film market traditionally runs in parallel with the famous festival. And if the main screening is focused on original films, and exclusively of premiere status, then the business section, focused on distributors and distributors, includes novelties of various plans and at different stages of readiness — both those that have already been released and those that are just preparing for launch.
