An elderly woman died in a fire in Yemetsk, Arkhangelsk region.

A man died as a result of a fire in residential buildings and outbuildings in the village of Yemetsk in the Arkhangelsk region. This was announced on May 21 by the Agency of the State Fire Service and Civil Protection of the region.

It is specified that the open fire has been eliminated. 42 people and 11 pieces of equipment worked to eliminate the fire. In addition, houses and buildings were significantly damaged due to the fire.

"During the dismantling of the burnt structures, an elderly woman was found dead. Work on the site continues," the Telegram channel says.

The causes of the fire are currently being investigated.
