A court in London has released American singer Chris Brown on bail, who is accused in the UK of causing serious bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on May 21.

According to the agency, the decision to release Brown on bail was made by judge Tony Baumgartner of the Royal Court of the London Sutherk district. Brown was charged with causing grievous bodily harm during an "unprovoked attack" on Diava, the publication said.

In Europe, Brown was scheduled to begin a tour on June 8 to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of his debut album, named after himself, Chris Brown, according to the material.

Earlier, on May 15, the media reported that British police had detained Brown, who in 2023 broke a bottle of tequila over the music producer's head. The victim claims that the rapper attacked him, hit him on the head with a bottle, and then beat him with fists and feet.
