​​​​​​​VK service relaunched the Mail Response Platform

On May 21, VK conducted a major redesign and relaunch of the Replies to Mail service, turning it from a platform for finding information into a space for communication, sharing experiences and receiving advice.

The updated service received a modern technical architecture, a redesigned interface and new publication formats. Now users can create three types of posts: "Opinion" — for discussions and personal points of view, "Knowledge" — for accurate and verified answers, and "Stories" — for publishing large texts with personal impressions.

The content can be accompanied by photos, videos, and surveys, as well as published in thematic communities. At the same time, subscribers can choose spaces of interest or follow specific authors. There was also a karma system, a digital indicator of each user's contribution to the development of the platform.

"Search services and neural networks are improving in accurate answers, but at the same time the demand for feedback from real people is also growing. Users strive not only for the right answers, but also for humane ones: a variety of opinions, live experience, support and empathy," explained Olga Klochkova, project manager.

In addition, as of January 2025, the monthly audience of "Replies Mail" was 38.6 million people, and the daily audience was 3.7 million. During 2024, these figures increased by 26% and 38%, respectively. Since its launch in 2006, more than 175 million questions have been asked on the platform and about 1.2 billion responses have been published.

Earlier, on April 4, it was reported that VK Video and YouTube became the most popular and visited video hosting sites in Russia in March. Rutube is the third most popular service among the audience.
