The media reported on the murder of ex-adviser to Yanukovych Portnov in the Madrid area.

Andrei Portnov, an ex-adviser to former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead near Madrid, Spanish radio Cadena SER reported on May 21.

According to media reports, Portnov suffered four gunshot wounds to the chest and one to the head. The crime occurred in the village of Pozuelo de Alarcon near the entrance to the local school.
