Details about the new Hongqi H6 liftback for Russia have become known

Hongqi shared details about equipping the H6 liftback for the Russian market, the presentation of which is scheduled for June 3. The model will be offered with a turbocharged two-liter engine with a capacity of 245 hp (380 Nm) paired with an eight-speed automatic, front-wheel drive. This is stated in the message of the Russian representative office of the brand, which was received by Izvestia on May 21.

In the Hongqi model range, the novelty will be located between the H5 business sedan and the H9 executive model. The Hongqi H6 is 4,990 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The design of the liftback was developed with the participation of former Rolls-Royce chief designer Giles Taylor. The drag coefficient of the H6 is 0.27, which is one of the best indicators in the class, the company said.

The H6 is equipped with a fully independent suspension (McPherson front and multi-link rear). Shock absorbers with intelligent damping control are installed in the maximum configuration. The model is equipped with nine airbags.

In all configurations, the driver's seat is equipped with a massage function with three modes. The multimedia system with a 12.6-inch display has a fully Russified interface. The interior is decorated with soft surfaces with stitching, chrome details and carbon fiber decorative linings. The complex of intelligent assistants includes a blind spot monitoring system, lane keeping, emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and an intersection collision avoidance system.

On May 19, Hongqi shared new details about the brand's first SUV, which was unveiled in April at the Shanghai Auto Show as a concept car. The luxury model, which has no name yet, is scheduled to enter the market in 2026.
