The FSB stopped the preparation of sabotage using UAVs at a factory in Kazan

The Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan has suppressed the illegal activities of a member of pro-Ukrainian organizations who was preparing a sabotage at one of the enterprises in Kazan. This was announced on May 21 by the press service of the department.

It is noted that the actions of a resident of Tatarstan were supervised by an unidentified representative of the Ukrainian side.

"In order to carry out sabotage, he was trained in the basics of conspiracy, and also studied the methods of making explosive devices," the press service said.

From February to October 2024, the suspect was preparing a sabotage using an unmanned aerial vehicle at one of the Kazan factories.

A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under Part 1 of Article 30 and Part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted sabotage"), as well as under Article 281.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Undergoing training to commit sabotage activities").

On the same day, law enforcement agencies detained a resident of the Amur region for high treason, he planned to participate in hostilities against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and commit sabotage. According to Anastasia Yablokova, an official representative of the Federal Security Service for the Amur Region, during the investigation it was revealed that the man planned to take part in hostilities against the Russian Armed Forces and commit a terrorist act on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
