Putin: neo-Nazis from the Armed Forces of Ukraine would even take second place in the idiot contest

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with volunteers in the Kursk region on May 20, said that neo-Nazis from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who destroy monuments from the Second World War, would even take second place in an idiot contest.

According to him, the actions of these people "show who they are" and demonstrate that they profess neo-Nazi ideology.

"And even they would have taken second place in the idiot contest. Why? Because they are idiots," the head of state said in a video fragment that journalist Pavel Zarubin posted on his Telegram channel on May 21.

On March 25, Putin said that Ukrainian formations were destroying industrial, energy and cultural facilities, as well as purposefully hitting cultural heritage sites and spiritual centers in the Kursk region. For example, the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants placed dozens of shells in one of the churches after they were forced to flee the village.
