A combat veteran spoke about Putin's support


Russian President Vladimir Putin supports citizens and strengthens the morale of the population. Denis Sychev, a combat veteran and head of the Kurchatov district's Combat Brotherhood, told Izvestia after a meeting with the head of state.
"There are no such presidents anywhere like in our country, so God grant him good health. His support is certainly felt," Sychev said on May 20 after a meeting with the head of state.
The veteran stressed that the support of the country's leader inspires further work and raises the spirit of the people.
"When such people support us, it further encourages our team to work," said the head of the Combat Brotherhood.
The meeting with the Russian president was attended by 19 people. The event came as a surprise to representatives of volunteer organizations: they learned about Putin's presence when the head of state entered the room.
Earlier, on May 20, as part of a working trip, Putin met with volunteers at the humanitarian headquarters in the Kursk region in the region. During the meeting, the Russian president stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are destroying monuments of the Second World War, which gives reason to consider them neo-Nazis.
